Broadway in September

Wisconsin Dells

Two Months

Two months now and I’m still enjoying my Street Photography. I’m focusing more on Black and White Photography.

Broadway was as busy as ever on Labor Day which surprised me. Then again the weather has been amazing lately.

Beards on Broadway

I will go out of my way to photograph a great looking beard. I think when I’ve accumulated enough beard photos I may put together a special street photography segment called Beards on Broadway.

How is it that kids always seem to know where the camera is. I had just sat down on a Riverwalk bench when this young man walked by.

Kids know…

An Artist at work

Seems like there is a different Caricature Artist on the corner of Broadway and Eddy streets every time I pass by.

This time rather than photograph just the artist, I made sure to include his subjects.

Have to wonder

From what I could hear, the two gentlemen on the bench were having a good discussion about all the changes that have taken place in the Wisconsin Dells over the years.

Not many places where you find an old white man and a young black man discussing life on a busy street bench.

Hmmm . . . .

This view caught my eye. It reminded me of a Dinosaur.

Dad’s and Daughter’s

Photo says it all….

A Hot Dog Caboose?

North of Broadway Street on Wisconsin Avenue you’ll find the Parkway Motel with an old Soo Line caboose parked in front. The signs say it was once a hotdog stand, but when it closed I’m not sure.

It made for an interesting photo. I really can’t find much on its history, but there is a story there somewhere?

One Fun Ride

I was sitting on a bench on Broadway looking to photograph passing motorcycles when I spotted the Polaris Slingshot headed towards me.

A friendly Fire Hydrant

I didn’t see the fire hydrant til later when editing photos.
